Verdict

Only one favourite has been successful in the past 12 years. GALANT FERNS has been a little frustrating over timber but gained a very impressive victory in a handicap at Limerick last month and would take the world of beating if repeating. Loch Long finally got off the mark over timber when beating Glenstar at Ballinrobe and the runner-up is engaged in the opener. Presenting Nama tackles this trip for the first time over hurdles and his best run came when stepped-up to 2m4f at Clonmel while Tom Horn looks certain to be suited by the trip after staying on very strongly to beat Luck Pennie at Clonmel. The versatile Sugar Bullet was a little disappointing behind Moi Desire here earlier this month but she's another who probably needs more of a stamina test.
