Dark Spark easily won a bumper here in October and was in the lead at this trip when tackling 2m3f over hurdles at Cork last time. ED THE RED had Malbas a couple of lengths behind when runner-up to Sicario over the track and trip and should confirm the form as he looked very green throughout. Shamiyan couldn't get close to Urabamba at Wexford but was conceding 13lb so has to be on the shortlist while Estepona Sun hasn't done much wrong though is beginning to look exposed. Ben Thomson was well beaten at Bellewstown after a much better run at Clonmel.
