Verdict

Winning pointer Indian Temple is clearly going to make a better chaser than hurdler judged by the way he won at Tramore. The Housekeeper came good at Roscommon last month but this is a much bigger ask. Gallant Tipp has had eight runs over fences but is getting no nearer a first success. Gordon Elliott appears to hold the key to this with Akorakor and SHADOW CATCHER. Bryan Copper fulfils his Gigginstown obligations by switching to the latter, who won on easily over course and distance on only his second start over the larger obstacles. But the latter was the better hurdler and can build on his narrow victory at Limerick, though will need to jump better.
