Verdict

Macnicholson keeps finding one too good and was returned a losing favourite behind Cracking Chap at Navan recently. He looks sure to be in the mix again but FRUITS OF MOLLY finished only four lengths behind him last time. Given that was the latter's first start over timber, Paul Gilligan's charge may well find enough improvement to land this. Rebel Laker is another to consider on his latest fourth at Downpatrick, though he has a bit to find at the weights with Landau whose run behind Plinth at Leopardstown in December also brings him into the reckoning. Kahdian and Lake Nova are others likely to improve while newcomer Phil's Magic is related to winning hurdler and chaser The Book Thief.
