In depth

Verdict

PASS THE BALL was in superb form in 2018, scoring on the Flat and three times over hurdles. He only had two over jumps runs last year, beaten a length in a Punchestown handicap over fences in May, but a recent run on the Flat will have put him straight. Thecraicisninety has won over fences and been placed several times including when runner-up on his reappearance here last May while Visioman completed a double over fences last summer and makes his handicap debut over the bigger obstacles. It's very rare to find a Willie Mullins'-trained runner at the bottom of a moderate handicap and Rock Road, who is having his first start for the yard, could be starting out on a very lenient mark. Colin Bowe's yard is in good form and Victoria Bay is another to consider.
