Verdict

Stormie Outlook didn't get the run of the race at Listowel last week but wasn't beaten far and is on the same mark. Yokkell went up 8lb for a comfortable victory at Tipperary and made a bold bid to defy the extra at Down Royal where he couldn't quite catch the winner but is up another 3lb. Adam's Angel has yet to reach a place but has been staying on though the vote goes to FRENCH RESCUE. He gained a shock victory in an apprentice race at the Curragh last weekend but, though 6lb higher, his rider claims 5lb more than he did that day. The softer the ground the better for Fools Glory, a winner on testing going at Roscommon in May.
