        Verdict

        HAPPYWIFEHAPPYLIFE started favourite for a Galway maiden after finishing first past in a Dundalk barrier trial. She didn't quite get the run of the race and could improve enough to reverse places with stable companion Truce, who was eight lengths in front of her in second. The latter already had plenty of experience and is looking exposed while Magic Word ran poorly when tried over this trip at Roscommon, where Coeur Battant ran very well to finish fourth. Glinting, a full-sister to five winners, could do with a victory for the paddocks but the race in which she finished runner-up at Limerick has worked out poorly.
