In depth
Verdict
DESIR DU LARGE, highly tried in Grade 2 company since joining Joseph O'Brien, will appreciate the move into maidens. Off Your Rocco is hard to assess on the back of a facile bumper win for Gordon Elliott in September but couldn't have obliged more smoothly and is clearly one to watch here on his return to action. Clondaw Bertie is open to progress and others for the shortlist are L'Impertinent, who looked one for the future when a promising debut third in a large field of maidens at Cork, and Irish Poseidon, a good Leopardstown fourth on Boxing Day.
