Verdict

Caim Hill was in fine form around this time last year and should be winning again soon despite a climb in the weights though he hasn't been seen since October. COOLNAGORNA GIGGS hasn't had much experience over fences but looked a very progressive type when landing a beginners' chase at Ballinrobe and starts off in handicaps off a low enough mark to take this. Fever Pitch found 3m4f much too far at Downpatrick and this is ideal so he has to go on the short-list along with the consistent Mr Cracker, who has been racing in better company and very nearly landed a Navan Grade 2 last month.
