Verdict
Aged 14, the once-smart On The Fringe is not the force of old and was beaten 15 lengths when runner-up in this last year. IT CAME TO PASS was beaten when unseating his rider in the Champion Hunter Chase at Punchestown but would have been placed had he stood up and that form should be too good for these. Sea Light was beaten by On The Fringe at Rathcannon last month but only by a neck, though always seems to find at least one too good.
