Verdict

An interesting opener with Joseph O'Brien and Jessica Harrington both having a pair of entries. The former's best chance appears to lie with Tesseract, a triple bumper winner who has taken his time to find his feet over hurdles but was impressive at Bellewstown earlier this month. His stable companion Let's Twist Again looks to have too much to do at this stage. Bright Tomorrow looked a nice prospect for the Harrington yard when beating Cradle Mountain at Wexford though Candlestick ran very well in a tough Punchestown handicap when last seen in April. Both may do better over further and PENHILL looks the one to beat. Willie Mullins' charge was rated 100 on the Flat in the UK after five victories and gained a very easy success on his hurdling bow at Tramore. The remaining trio are all last-time winners but have much more to do.
