In depth

Verdict

Mighty Tom was entered in the 3.25 here yesterday. FLYING SCOTSMAN hasn’t been disgraced in a couple of starts since finishing ahead of Viceregent on worse terms at Fairyhouse just before Christmas and he has a cracking chance in this if the ground continues to dry out. The Big Chap shouldn’t be far away if running to the same level as when scoring over a shorter trip at Kilbeggan last month. It would be no surprise if The Priests Leap were to prove the pick of Gordon Elliott’s trio and Tempo Chapter Two could run well at bigger odds. Prince Zaltar is in good form but will need a couple to drop out to get a run.
