GOLDEN DANDY just failed to hold the late burst of Surrounding over this trip at Limerick where she had Buttermere back in fourth, Pari Passu just behind in fifth and both Allegio and Rimshot well beaten. She should make progress from the run and has a fitness advantage over the returning Silk Cravat, who had decent form in maidens and handicaps for Simon Crisford in the UK but hasn't run since July. Intense Stylist has had 19 starts without winning but been placed in nine of them so can hardly be recommended.
