Verdict

TURNBERRY ISLE hasn't fulfilled last season's potential though stayed on strongly in a tough Curragh handicap last month and could be on the way back. The consistent Tony The Gent finished alongsides that day conceding 8lb so there looks nothing between the pair though the former has much more scope. After a winning start at Cork, Highland Dress disappointed on softer ground here last month and will need to do better. Mujid comfortably landed a maiden over a mile here then didn't get the run of the race at Limerick while Spiorad Saoirse was engaged in the 6.50 here last night.
