Verdict
A few disappointing types here who could do with a victory for the paddocks including Water Nymph, who has now had eight starts and looks to be regressing. She only had half-a-length to spare over Lady Meis when placed at Naas and the latter, who was making her debut, can turn the tables though they both finished a long way behind the winner. LETIZA's form looks stronger having been narrowly beaten three times over 1m2f before well beaten over 1m5f in the Ulster Derby. She should appreciate this drop in trip and can finally get off the mark. Golden Spangle was also well beaten in a handicap last time but her earlier form gives her every chance while Hazalaya attempted to make all over an extended 1m1f at Gowran but weakened when headed at this trip. Antique Store's dam has produced winners with all four offspring to race and she may prove best of the newcomers.
