Verdict

Rachael rode Watch House Cross to victory over timber but not to his two recent novice chase successes and Henry De Bromhead puts 3lb claimer Mike O'Connor on board again leaving the stable jockey to ride Solness. Joseph O'Brien's charge did well to chase home Saldier on his debut over fences and has been impressive in his next two. HERCULE DU SEUIL won a Grade 2 over timber in April and was very impressive on his second start over fences at Ballinrobe. He looks the type to go on to better things and had subsequent easy winner Lieutenant Highway well beaten in the latter event. Western Comandor showed up well for a long way before falling at the last on his chasing debut at Kilbeggan.
