Verdict

DREAM TODAY is the only one of these to have won on the beach here having scored over 7f on this card a year ago. He's on a 6lb lower mark and has a 5lb claimer on board so will be difficult to beat. Paul Townend has a rare ride on the Flat on board Army Of India, three times an all-weather winner in the UK and having just his second start for new connections. Transcendental won a Curragh handicap in May and is a pound lower here while Aloysius Lilius landed a soft-ground Tipperary handicap but couldn't handle an 8lb rise in a better race at the Curragh. Sunday Sovereign won a Bellewstown claimer in July but has been well beaten subsequently.
