      Verdict

Just A Fluke is selected to make a winning return at the expense of Jorobaden and stablemates Panzer and Rarefied, with Gannymede not to dismissed entirely. Just A Fluke lined up for his Beverley debut last July holding a Derby entry and did not shape too badly in finishing second to the more experienced Top Seed. He perhaps had too much use made of him at Doncaster next time when finding Tashkil too good. A tendency to hang left in the closing stages did not help matters, but he is sure to be more mature now, and without perhaps being up to Group class just yet, should make a bold bid. Jorobaden was returning from a long absence when second at Lingfield in February. Related to a Group 1 winner, his dam Mercalle won the Prix du Cadran and he too should improve when stepped up in trip. Panzer's dam is well related and the market may give us a clue as to whether he is more preferred than Rarefied who did not do a great deal wrong on the second of his two starts at Nottingham. It will not be long before he breaks his duck, while Gannymede has been working well enough at home. Moonshaft will probably need this and so Just A Fluke is the selection in a race that could throw up plenty of future winners.
