Verdict

Though pulled up on his hurdling debut more than a year ago, Chosen Port would have a chance in this on earlier bumper form but HOUI CHERIE is race-fit and certainly caught the eye when second at Hereford having been easy to back. She did finish just behind Kraqueline in an Ascot bumper last season, however, so Kerry Lee’s mare is also worth considering. Artemis Kimbo wasn’t beaten far in a Chepstow bumper in March but winning pointers Police Academy and I Giorni were both unplaced in the same race on their debuts under Rules.
