        Verdict

        SELENACHORUS showed nothing over much shorter in maidens before beaten narrowly over this trip in a course and distance handicap. She showed the benefit of that run when sluicing up on a return visit on soft ground and a 6lb penalty hardly seems enough to halt her progress. Scotch Mist was staying on over 1m2f here a couple of weeks ago but Ancient Capital's Ffos Las victory was on fast going. Pfingstberg is improving with each run and is on a low enough mark to get into the frame but Rose Camira's Nottingham success came over 1m6f so this could prove too short.
