Verdict
Most of these do not find winning easy but Global Dream, consistent if limited, could just be the one if this considerable drop in trip is what is required. A keen-going sort, this lesser distance may be what he needs. The ex-Godolphin Directional has yet to live up to his breeding but this is a modest affair and he too may well be good enough and certainly merits shortlisting with the promise of more to come after just a couple of runs over hurdles. However, if IN THE CROWD can repeat an improved effort when runner-up to Olympian Boy at Taunton last time, he'll be another to play a prominent role and just gets the nod in the hope that he can sustain that improvement with James Banks claiming a useful 3lb allowance.
