Verdict
The best is saved until last as a number of these arrive in form. Clock Opera sprang a surprise over course and distance last month while Artful Lady bounced back to form at Brighton after a poor run at Yarmouth. Black Annis Bower is starting to come down the weights again and wasn't disgraced at Newmarket last time while Dancing Maite can never be left out of calculations here and The Dark Wizard and Shaolin are others to consider. PASTUREYES didn't appear to be enjoying herself at Brighton last month but still got the job done. A line through runner-up Sally Bruce suggests she is closely matched with Artful Lady but Scott Dixon's filly has more scope so gets the nod.
