In depth

Verdict

Mobaasher gained an overdue success last time and can follow up this afternoon at the expense of Green Room and Warsaw Pact. Sir Michael Stoute's colt, a very expensive purchase, got his head in front in a decent looking maiden at Pontefract. He had previously gone close in a handicap of a slightly lower mark, but now he has got his head in front his confidence could increase and a big run is expected. Warsaw Pact landed an all-weather hat-trick back in July and hasn't been disgraced on the turf since. He may need to drop a few pounds before winning again but should be fighting for a place. Green Room returned to winning ways at Salisbury last time, beating subsequent winner Juniper Girl in good fashion. Meanwhile Trick Or Treat is another prolific winner who is not without a chance. All in all an open looking affair with Mobaasher the token selection
