      Verdict

Salaaheb is a half-sister to a couple of 6f juvenile winners and looks the pick of Mark Johnston's pair while Richard Hughes has chosen £65,000 yearling Throne ahead of stablemates Authoritarian and Available, even though her pedigree suggests she'll be better over sprint distances. Brian Meehan's Balaton is another interesting debutante, while Godolphin newcomers Eluding and Estiqbaal are sure to attract support even though they are likely to do better over further next year. Kogershin and Lucertola could also figure but SHABORA, from the same family as high-class two-year-old Bint Allayl and Group 3 winners Kheleyf and Laa Rayb, is particularly interesting and gets a tentative vote in what should prove an informative maiden.
