Verdict

Sandown fourth Ar El Bee is easily the pick of those with experience but it would be no surprise if at least one of the newcomers didn’t prove too good. Perseus Way is a full brother to dual Sandown winner Just Fine and a half-brother to two other winners but Roger Charlton’s two-year-olds are 2-2 here over the last few years and VALSAD is another with a nice pedigree being out of a mare who won over 1m4f. He’s by Intello so should handle the ground. Groundbreaker is preferred to Argonault of the remainder.
