It's almost two years since Thoresby last ran over fences but he's not badly treated on the pick of his hurdles form. Lamb's Cross has also tumbled down the weights but Mark Gillard's charge is getting no nearer and Cool Bob is still a maiden after 51 career starts. Khazium hasn't really threatened in a couple of runs here since his second at Towcester, though is back in the right grade today.
