        Verdict

        THAPA VC has landed three of his last eight, all in desperate finishes and as a result has not received harsh treatment from the assessor. He's a key player here off 77. Royal Musketeer and Touchwood both add extra spice to the contest from the foot of the weights as both performed with considerable credit last time and should get involved again, whilst Ernie's Valentine was notably better last time and Marquand is a good booking in an open race.
