        Verdict

        Some potentially smart three-year-old's here, and the tentative nod goes to Jeanquiri ahead of Its Moon and Ceilidh Lass. The selection represents Robert Alner whose horses are running well at present and whilst his French form looks hard to weigh up in the context of this race, the way that he won on his debut suggests that he is pretty useful. That win came in Listed company so assuming all is well after his break he could prove hard to beat. Recent winners Its Moon and Serhaaphim both warrant respect, especially as each is adaptable in regards to the ground. Cat Six should improve for his debut third, whilst Abounding is an interesting flat recruit and needs a check in the betting. Ceilidh Lass is another debutante who should be respected for an in-form stable, however whilst Starbourg could again fill the places, it is Jeanquiri who is fancied to oblige.
