Verdict
Tahchee has been a fast-improving sprinter on the Polytrack but this looks a stiff test off a new career-high mark. Ripon runner-up Election Night just looks a few pounds too high at present while Salisbury second Lead A Merry Dance was well behind Tahchee at Kempton earlier. Both of Birdie Queen's victories have come at Brighton and Half Way only won a seller over further here last time but Smokethatthunders is back on a winning mark and can't be ruled out. Native Falls beat MANATEE BAY (NAP) a length-and-a-quarter at Ayr but might struggle to confirm that running under a penalty with Dandy Nicholls' charge, who remains in good heart and is fairly treated - he gets the nod today.
