Abricot De L'oasis won over hurdles at Sedgefield in April but comes here off the back of yet another poor run over fences at Wetherby. Towering will handle the fast ground but possibly needs further than this nowadays and hasn’t raced since May. MUHTARIS is another returning from a break but he did win on Fibresand at the start of the year following a few months off so it could be worth taking a chance on James Evans’ six-year-old, who did win a decent contest at Newbury in March under William Featherstone. He could offer more value than fellow returnees Pillard and Ten Sixty. Stop The Press may be best of the rest.
