Verdict

Full Trottle has won five of his seven starts under Rules and finished second in the others but it remains to be seen how he handles this first try over the minimum trip. Argot was the 33/1 winner of this 12 months ago, when Numbercruncher was pulled up, but has to questions to answer after pulling up on his reappearance. Eastlake and Double Ross are lights of former days on recent evidence so this can go to BALLOTIN, who weakened over 2m6f on his return to action at Haydock so will appreciate the drop in distance.
