MINER'S LAMP did very well to score at Sandown as he was still well adrift turning form home having missed the break. The extra distance will suit and Charlie Appleby's colt should double his tally. Gold Top has faced some stiff tasks since winning at Newbury in June and looks the danger, though Recanted's last two runs have been in Group 2 company. Aristocracy won over 1m2f at Bath last month but may be out of his depth in this.
