Verdict
It is almost a toss of a coin between Fast Mix and Dramatic Quest after their mammoth tussle at Chepstow last month and, assuming that both run up to that level, Dramatic Quest is just preferred over this slightly shorter trip today. The selection was just nailed in the extended half furlong by his old adversary in last month's encounter - where both gave their all in a similar grade of race. Dramatic Quest subsequently came out and gained some just reward when winning over course and distance and is obviously in great heat at present. The trip and ground are very much in his favour and, with the likelihood of a better price abounding, this one-time Listed race performer on the Flat can go in again. Fast Mix will not make it easy for the selection and looks the more reliable option over Gregorian and Young Tot to give Dramatic Quest the most to do.
