Verdict

FAIRWOOD PRESENT won a similar event at Ludlow when last seen in May last year and is the one to beat if at his best on his first outing since. Haka Dancer's best form entitles to him to consideration and Point Proven has claims on his earlier placed efforts in Ireland. Restless D'Artaix won at Plumpton back in 2009 but has had just the two runs since and Shalamiyr looks a bigger danger on his recent fourth at Ludlow. Gardasee hasn't raced under Rules since 2008 and was pulled up in a point-to-point race in January.
