    Verdict

The Cruising Lord has placed over this trip but has done most of his racing over 6f. Revision was second over track and trip in July when 5lb higher but has shown nothing in three runs for new connections. Also runner-up over course and distance earlier in the year, BIRD OF PLAY is back over his winning trip despite having run well over a mile. He’s been dropped a couple of pounds and Elle-May Croot’s claim reduces that further. Chorus Line won here in the spring when 2lb higher and a case can also be made for the Yarmouth scorer Royal Bliss.
