In depth
Verdict
Having won a novice chase at Newton Abbot in August, PREDATEUR earned a rating of 130 so he should be too classy for his rivals today in this hunter chase and can give weight away to all the runners with the main dangers rated as Young Collier and Dark Artist. The last mentioned showed plenty of ability over hurdles and fences in Ireland when with Noel Meade but he has seemingly lost his way of late and is probably best watched now. Oscar D'angron was well held behind Lisadell King, who runs in the 3.40, here last time out but he may come on for the run but needs to. Kinfayre Boy has not been seen since June and needs to step up in the form shown when last seen to trouble the judge and of more interest may be Young Collier, who should appreciate the drop in trip having seemingly not stayed three miles at Fakenham last time. This should not take much winning and Predateur has solid claims of taking the race having shown a decent level of form in recent starts.
