In depth

Verdict

Hawaana is fancied to improve for his debut outing and gets the vote ahead of newcomers Strategic Mover and Doctor Fremantle. The selection shaped with plenty of promise on his debut at Ascot and if he has progressed both physically and mentally from that run, then this 220,000 euros son of Bahri is fancied to score. Parliamentary improved on his first run when third last time out and Mark Johnston's runner deserves a check, as does St Jean Cap Ferrat who was unruly leaving the gates on debut but is another who shaped nicely. Newcomers Doctor Fremantle and Strategic Mover are the most interesting, and whilst the former may need time and races, Paul Cole's runner on the other hand may be smart enough to score first time out. The betting will help guide in this maiden, however Hawaana is fancied to score.
