Verdict
Parkinson is marginally preferred to Killard Point and Mokum. The selection wouldn't have been an easy ride for his young conditional when failing to put his best foot forwards over hurdles in first time blinkers last time. That run should have blown away any cobwebs though and better can be expected now this course and distance winner reverts to chasing. Killard Point has been paying for his consistency this season and may need a little respite from the handicapper if he's to get his head in front in this sort of company. King Coal is another course and distance winner but isn't the easiest to predict but Superrollercoaster should be involved if over whatever ailed him last time. Mokum is a course regular who can usually be relied upon to give his running at this track; he's not on too bad a mark and his stable is going well but may not see out this trip quite as well as some in this field. There are no concerns on that score for Parkinson and he gets our vote.
