Verdict
Of the four fillies to have raced, the most promising may be BELLA SWAN who is preferred to Prettiest Star and newcomer Botley Bell. Walter Swinburn's well-related filly made a good start to her racing career when she filled third place at Newmarket back in May. She was only beaten by a length at the line and although the form has not really been franked since, she shaped as if she would come on plenty for the run and although her future will lie over further, she could make her class tell. Gallic Star was well-fancied for her debut (behind Bella Swan at Newmarket) but she did shape with some promise and it would be no surprise to see her improve; she has a mixed pedigree but there looks to be plenty of speed on her mothers¿ side. Prettiest Star has the benefit of one more run under her belt and Kevin Ryan's daughter of Footstepsinthesand looks likely to appreciate the step up in trip today, whilst Zinjbar will need to improve on her first run. The most interesting newcomers look to be Ella Grace (from an in-form yard), Botley Bell (yard can ready a newcomer; also have Gallic Star in the race), and Kildangan Girl (a Refuse To Bend filly who is a half-sister to Queen Of Naples), however we will stay loyal to Bella Swan.
