    Verdict

Hi Shinko has the best form among those to have raced but Rod Millman's gelding has yet to confirm that he handles ground this testing and he looks best left out of calculations with preference for OUR DAY WILL COME, who gets the vote over Speedy Guru. The last mentioned was fairly well held on her debut at Salisbury but Henry Candy's filly should do better on the softer surface today so she has to be considered. Reg Hollinshead's Ipdipdoo lacks any previous experience but is bred to handle the conditions so she could be of interest. Angelsbemine should come on for her Ripon debut but needs to as does Oneofthesedayz, who was well held at the same venue on her first start. The vote then goes to Richard Hannon's Our Day Will Come, who has shown a consistent level of form, including on a softer surface on her latest start when not seemingly staying the seven furlongs. She should appreciate the drop back to six furlongs today and looks the one to be on.
