Verdict

Under Curfew goes well fresh but starts the new campaign on a high enough mark, though Mollie Phillips takes off 5lb. Both of LORD P’s victories last year came in amateur riders’ events under the trainer’s daughter but he was second in a higher grade at Doncaster in September and ran very well at Kempton in January so shouldn’t be far away if fully wound-up. Dream Composer finished ahead of Prince Of Abington when second at Wetherby and the fourth went close at Doncaster on Saturday while Pure Dreamer returned from a very long absence to score at Lingfield and a 4lb rise doesn’t look excessive.
