In depth

Verdict

A wide open maiden here and as usual in these events the market will be very informative but the principals look to be High Days, Rakeekah and Lady Sandicliffe and the narrow vote is given to High Days. The selection was a good second on her debut behind Presto Levanter and is bred to cope with some cut in the ground. She looks the type who will improve with her racing and she should prove tough to beat. Rakeekah rates the main danger as she is a well-bred filly by Bahari from a yard in top form and she should be watched in the market. Lady Sandicliffe is another that could go well on her latest third behind Spanish Bounty but she will be handicapped after this run and that is where her future may lie. Tatbeeq was a fair fourth on her debut but she was behind the selection on that occasion and there is no reason why she should gain her revenge here. Lady Aquitaine was well backed on her debut but disappointed and is clearly thought capable of better but she may need more time so is best watched. High Days looks the one to be on here and gets our vote.
