In depth
Verdict
OSCAR D'ANGRON looks capable of challenging for the honours in this contest and heads our short-list from Lisadell King and Hiho Silver Lining. The selection has failed to win under Rules thus far but he has ability as he showed when chasing home the useful Sobers around two years back. He was disappointing at Higham last month when fading tamely having set a strong pace but he may prove capable of better now that he's got that run under his belt. Lisadell King showed some ability for Mouse Morris in Ireland and has done really well in points in this country for his new connections and has to be feared on his return to racing over regulations fences. Hiho Silver Lining failed to complete in two starts over fences in Ireland but she is another that has enjoyed more luck between the flags and she comes into this race on the back of a fair second at Cottenham. A market check is advisable but Oscar D'Angron looks to have the credentials to go close.
