      Verdict

      THANKS MONICA and See The Sea both arrive with penalties for last week's victories. The former has the greater scope having scored by seven lengths at Salisbury and is 2lb better off than in future handicaps, as is her rival, who won easily at Carlisle to gain the 12th victory of her career. Mrs Meader was having her 23rd start when finally getting off the mark at Newbury for which she's up 6lb while the remaining trio will need to raise their game against in-form rivals.
