Verdict

Fergal O'Brien has his horses in tremendous form and anything he runs has to be respected so the vote in a moderate contest goes to DOUBLETOILNTROUBLE. He won two minor handicaps in convincing fashion last season and the lack of a recent run shouldn't pose a problem. Nom De Guerre is also returning from a break and though looking the pick of these on form he has a history of breaking blood vessels so is overlooked for that reason. Dark Glacier was in poor form earlier this year and reappeared with a very disappointing last of five at Wetherby when favourite.
