In depth

Verdict

El Djebena is dropped into this grade for the first time and Sir Mark Prescott tries his gelding in blinkers in an attempt to rekindle his enthusiasm. JACK'S REVENGE usually wears cheekpieces but has a visor on today after pulling up in a hurdle race at Newton Abbot at the start of the month. Jumping clearly isn't his game but that run will have blown away a few cobwebs and George Baker's charge could easily get his head back in front back on the Flat today. None of the others can be ruled out with any confidence but the filly Flaming Nora has been particularly disappointing since finishing third on her debut at Beverley.
