In depth

Verdict

Forth Bridge’s long wait for a first chase success continues but he keeps performing to a decent standard and his luck will change at some point. LARRY sets the bar here quite high, however, having stayed on strongly to land a competitive novices’ handicap at Sandown earlier this month – on that evidence, the step up in trip won’t be a problem. Another Stowaway has ability but has proved frustrating so far while Pauls Hill was tailed off here last month after winning at Sedgefield. Gowiththeflow beat Paisley Park over hurdles last season but failed to land the odds in a three-runner race at Doncaster on his chasing bow and will need to jump better.
