In depth
Verdict
With very little form to go on we will side with the newcomer John Terry, with Kilbarri, Sebaaq and Tawaassol three others to keep an eye on in the betting market. Amanda Perrett is not averse to winning with juvenile debutante's and this colt looks the part on paper. He is a son of Grand Lodge out of a Darshaan mare and cost 60 thousand guineas as a yearling. Unless the market says otherwise he could be the best bet here. Mark Johnson has been banging in the winners over the last few days so his runner Kilbarri has to be given the utmost respect. He is by Zafonic out of a half sister to Diminuendo. A mile to ten furlongs will be his best distance in time but he should still be involved in the finish here. Sebaaq is from a stable starting to hit form and as with two others, Charlton and the expensive purchase Tawaassol, any money in the ring would be significant. But over today's trip John Terry looks the one that could come out on top.
