Verdict

Midnight Jade has won twice since just touched off by Fly Home Harry at Southwell in November, including once here. But she’s now 8lb worse off and Alan Swinbank’s charge is fancied to confirm his superiority. Sonoftheking has done most of his racing in point-to-points but has won twice under Rules, including in a handicap last time at Wincanton. Arquebusier won here last season but that was over 2m on heavy going and he was well beaten off this mark last time at Warwick. GLOBAL DREAM is a dual course winner and is effective over a variety of distances. He was only beaten a neck at Southwell on his last start over fences and can go one better off a 2lb higher mark.
