Verdict

This isn't entirely straightforward for IZVESTIA but she can deliver another winner for in-form Hollie Doyle as she's well treated by race conditions and also has a course win to her name in a similar contest earlier in the campaign. However, Colonel Slade would be a player if back to the form of his penultimate run when second to Desert Lion at Bath in a novices' event but he did disappoint last time. A stronger threat could be Max Guevara whose season had not looked promising until a far better performance at Epsom recently when a staying-on fourth behind Lady Morpheus in Class 5 company. He still has something to find with the selection but that was much better.
